Apple’s set to launch the new series of iPhone in September.

The iPhone 16 series, expected to be released in September 2024, is shaping up to be another significant upgrade in Apple’s lineup. The series will include the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, each bringing new features and improvements over their predecessors.

Key Features and Updates:

  1. Design and Display: The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will feature a vertical camera layout, a change from the diagonal design of previous models. This new layout is designed to support spatial video recording, optimized for viewing on Apple’s Vision Pro headset.
  2. Camera Enhancements: The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will retain the 48MP main camera and 12MP ultra-wide camera setup but with improvements in sensor size and image quality. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will include a new 48MP IMX903 sensor and a 5x telephoto lens, offering better low-light performance and a more advanced zoom capability.
  3. Performance: All models in the series will be powered by the A18 chip, with the Pro versions using the more advanced N3P process for enhanced speed and power efficiency. Additionally, the Pro models will include 8GB of RAM, enabling more advanced AI features through “Apple Intelligence,” which leverages on-device AI for tasks like image sorting and real-time translation.
  4. New Capture Button: The Pro models are rumored to introduce a new capacitive “Capture Button,” located below the power button, designed to improve camera controls.
  5. Production and Pricing: Apple is reportedly focusing on its high-end models, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max seeing a significant increase in production. Expected prices for the series will start at $799 for the base iPhone 16 and go up to $1,699 for the 1TB version of the Pro Max.
